I use these guides to help kids follow directions in Toca Boca World. I have printed versions I keep handy, though I update them regularly.
The recipes are much easier than the crumpet summoning since you have to gather items from several locations in order to summon the crumpets. I’ve actually gathered all the items needed to summon crumpets in the warehouse so it’s easier on the kids to complete that activity. Bonus: it can be used as a barrier game!

Special Note: In order to summon a crumpet you need to go to the warehouse (the yellow asterisk) and put the two items in the character’s hands. The 2 recipes on the bottom-right can only be used if you buy the expansion packs.
