This year’s “superhero sensor bin” is a bit different than last year’s. I used Orbeez last year and wanted to do so again since it’s so hot in June and Orbeez can stay wet (and cool) without getting funky, but I discovered that Orbeez have been banned (and for good reason).
Instead, I used my Goo Jit Zu Heroes from last year, added additional ones (so there were some female superheroes), and put them into multicolored tinsel pom-poms, which my patients have historically loved.
I also got these emoji ice packs for the kids who come to treatment after a day out in the hot sun!
