For my food-themed sensory bin I got this “Ice Cream Treats” kinetic sand pack. I got one years ago and had the hardest time keeping kids from mixing the colors/scents/flavors! I’ve since been letting each kid play with only one flavor ice cream at a time – this keeps the flavors separate!
I also re-use the chocolate ice cream for February’s hot cocoa sensory bin, which I actually keep around all year for the kids who love kinetic sand so much they’re sad when my sensory bin doesn’t have it.
