As I create monthly themes that I can reuse each year in order to preserve my time and energy I’m adding a themed prize to my prize box each month. Each of my patients can visit the prize box at the end of their appointment as long as they finish all their work. In fact, the few times children choose to go without a prize instead of finishing their work they turn out to be coming down with something. Some kids earn a point for each task and need 100 points to get the prize (or more for bigger/more expensive prizes). Here are the prizes I’ve been adding to my box for each month’s theme:
