While the part about setting goals for your child (pages 58-67) are important, my favorite part of this chapter is about communicative temptations, which starts on page 68. The program's been in hot water for using the phrase "creative stupidity," but I like to call that "intentional mistakes," instead.

The other important part is this "How and Why" Communication Checklist from page 84.
